That Settles IT!!!!!! June 5, 2007

That lost post just settled it for me! I am moving back to blogger, but with a whole new name as cottage charm was taken.

WordPress would not let me download a photo unless I had it saved into a photo program and that is really annoying. I like the ease of blogger cause it lets you download from your computer.

Oh well. Sorry about all the changing and stuff. I just want to protect my privacy. I will post the new URL once I have it set up. Thanks for sticking in there with me!

What a horrible movie! I did not enjoy this movie at all.

Here is a brief synopsis from IMBD: The story follows Mirabelle, a disenchanted salesgirl and aspiring artist who sells gloves and accessories at a department store. She has two men in her life: wealthy divorcee Ray Porter (Steve Martin) and struggling musician Jeremy. Mirabelle falls in love with the glamorous Ray, and her life takes a magical turn, but eventually she realizes that she must empower herself and make a choice between them.

I had heard good things about this film, but it was not good. It was slow moving and you kept thinking it would get better and there would actually be a plot. My husband watched it with me and he told me that I am no longer allowed to pick out movies. LOL.

The only good thing about the movie was the way that Clair Danes dressed. She was old fashioned and feminiine. My most favorite outfit was this one - the black lace dress. Oh so pretty! (photo from IMBD website)

Decisions, Decisions June 5, 2007

I don’t know if I like WordPress just yet. I have been using it, but it just isn’t doing it for me. I can’t really change the background to what I want like I could with blogger. (wordpress charges a yearly fee) I don’t really care for the font size, but I can’t change it. (or at lest I don’t know how)

I am still working on this blog. It is a work in progress.

Menu Planning Help June 4, 2007

Hubby and I have decided to eat at home more. This means that I need to put together a menu plan of sorts. I would like to have 2 weeks worth of menus planned so that when I go shopping, I will have 2 weeks worth of food in the pantry.

My question is this: How do you guys do it? Do you have any tips or tricks for me?

Tonight June 1, 2007

I am going to be all alone tonight. Well, all alone with Sophie (my cat), (It will be a girls night. LOL) Hubby is going out of town on an overnight fishing trip.

I am planning on cleaning the house tonight and then watching “Roman Holiday” with Audrey Hepburn. I just adore her movies!

Saturday will find me pulling out my bicycle and going to the library. Then I am planning on cleaning out our storage closet and finding things to eBay or list on Craig’s list. So I will be doing that in the afternoon.

And if he isn’t back home until late Saturday, I have also rented “The Lake House” with Sandra Bullock & Keanu Reeves. Should be a good time.
